How we research & update

Honest about our process: prices from providers' own pages, regulated figures from official sources, automated checks before publishing, and corrections when readers flag them.

Last reviewed: October 2026

Where our information comes from

Mobile and broadband plan details come from each provider's own official page. Electricity figures come from SP Group, the Energy Market Authority (EMA) and the data.gov.sg electricity tariff dataset. Consumer rules \u2014 number portability, switching, contract safeguards \u2014 come from IMDA and EMA. Every page shows its sources and the date each figure was valid.

How we handle prices that change

Telco and broadband promotions change often, sometimes weekly, and electricity retailer rates move with the quarterly regulated tariff. We date every price with an “as of” label and tell you to confirm the current figure on the provider's page before you commit. Where a figure cannot be verified, we leave it out.

How pages are produced

Our content is produced by an automated research-and-writing pipeline and reviewed by automated checks (source presence, figure formatting, internal-link validity, length limits) before publishing. We are telling you this plainly: a human does not hand-review every single page. We do not publish a figure that is not tied to a cited source.

How often we update

Comparison pages are reviewed on a regular cadence and when a major promotion or the regulated tariff changes. Explainer guides are reviewed when the underlying rule changes and at least once a quarter. The “Updated” date on each page reflects its last change.
